Chief Larry Fisher and the Merrimac Fire Department are seeking applications for a full-time Firefighter/EMT (Paramedic preferred).

The starting salary for the position is $62,484 – $71,911, with final salary decided by experience, operational level, and holiday schedules.

Preference will be given to applicants who are:
- Certified Paramedics with current ACLS and CPR certifications (at time of hire)
- MA or Pro-Board Firefighter I & II certification.
- Officer I or II
- Fire Instructor
- FPO I or II
- Currently enrolled in a Paramedic Program with a completion date within 6 months of application date
- Individuals with Veteran’s status and/or current residents meeting minimum qualifications.
