Certified paramedics are preferred.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, administrative functions, day-to-day operations, fire prevention, code enforcement, fire protection, fire investigation, rescue, emergency medical service, hazardous materials mitigation, and disaster response functions and may involve protecting lives and property as well as other duties of the Merrimac Fire Department.
